AISHA FRANCIS

Aisha Francis radiates the embodiment of powerful femininity through expressive dance.

Through her experience as a celebrity movement coach, professional dancer and choreographer, Aisha Francis has evolved into a passionate dance expert that coaches both dancers and women all over the world.

Her signature movement is focused on sensual feminine dance in heels. From the wind in her hips to the toss of her hair, Aisha’s energy and vivacity erupts as she dances. She currently hosts professional dance workshops for dancers in the industry, as well as hosts confidence-boosting "Pump Camp", designed to empower women to look and feel confident while dancing in their heels.

TAKE A WALK IN HER HEELS

Born in New York, Aisha grew up in a household of dance where her mom, Vicki Bails, was a professional dancer, model, actress and singer on Broadway. At the age of 19, Aisha was inspired to go to Hollywood in hopes to advance her career. Her change in location paid off when she landed a gig as a cheerleader for the Los Angeles Lakers.  During her time as a Laker Girl, Aisha performed with Bette Midler on her hit show “Bette”, signed with an illustrious Hollywood dance agency, and within two days of landing an agent, she booked her first movie role. Those first few opportunities jump-started a long and impressive career as an entertainer and movement specialist. One that's now spanned more than a decade.

In 2003, well before social media, Aisha participated in a nationwide audition of dancers hoping for a chance to work with Beyoncé Knowles. Her charisma and talent landed her one of only four available spots. For more than four years, Aisha toured the world as Beyoncé’s right hand dancer, movement coach, dance captain, and assistant choreographer. That collaboration lead to Beyoncé winning several Grammy and MTV Music Video awards for the now and forever famous “Crazy in Love” music video. Aisha was the choreographer as well as the co-creator of the video's signature "Uh-oh" Dance.

This was the introduction of Beyoncé as a solo act and the beginning of a new sensual dance movement embracing women of all shapes and sizes. Much of Aisha’s work with Beyoncé centered on this movement. Aisha began teaching and elevating the intricate moves of a powerful yet sensual dance performance on heels.

This purposely sexy, take no prisoners style became the signature movement of Aisha Francis.

It was Aisha’s work with Beyoncé Knowles that propelled her career as dancer, choreographer, and movement specialist. Other movement and choreography clients include Janet Jackson, Normani, Rihanna, Jason Derulo, Nelly Furtado, Alicia Keys, Kelly Rowland, Trey Songz, Nicole Scherzinger, Miguel and on the hit movie “Burlesque”, Kristen Bell, Christina Aguilera and Julianne Hough.

During her time working with Beyoncé, Aisha had the honor of performing for former President Bush and Tina Turner at the Kennedy Center Honor Awards during a Tina Turner tribute, one of her longtime idols. Aisha has also performed alongside a who's who of the entertainment industry that includes Rihanna, Prince, Cher, Jay-Z, Usher, Chris Brown, Kelly Rowland, Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, Stevie Wonder, Kid Rock, Robin Thicke, Ciara, Jon Secada, and Ceelo Green.
